Crystal + Jason Step Into The Limelight | Sandpearl Resort | Clearwater, FL

Crystal & Jason met at a friends party. Camden (Crystal’s son) started to play with Jason and one thing led to a next and the rest is a beautiful history!
Jason loves Crystal’s smile and says “I do my best to have every interaction end with a laugh and a smile. She’s the most caring and loving person I’ve ever met and it shows right through her smile.” Crystal says, “What I love about Jason is how selflessly he loves and how genuine he is. He will do anything for anyone and his family.”

We just LOVED how family was intentionally the center of Crystal & Jason’s entire wedding day! Amazing fact… their wedding date was also Crystal’s grandparents 70th anniversary date! How absolutely amazing is that? Crystal & Jason chose to have their daughter Chloe walk down the aisle with the Maid of Honor (such a special moment) and Camden walked his mom down the aisle… which OMG! Nothing cuter than that! They also made a point to do a Sand Ceremony during their wedding.

We witnessed such sweet moments through the day, we LOVED their sunset session and it was just such a laid back and enjoyable moment, it was pure beauty! The Clearwater Beach sunset will forever have our hearts ❤︎ We wish Crystal & Jason a lifetime of beautiful moments with each other and their cuties Camden & Chloe!

Rochelle + Nirmel Step Into The Limelight | The Vinoy® Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club | St. Petersburg, FL

Congratulations Rochelle + Nirmel! The love you have for Jesus and each other is precious to witness. We loved being a part of your wedding day! It was so beautiful to see the traditions of both sides of your family - Filipino + Indian

Rochelle and Nirmel’s Christian faith is a huge part of their wedding and their love for God. God’s design of their marriage is very important them and how they are to mirror the image of how God Loves his people. Rochelle and Nirmel met at church over the summer of 2015, and he proposed at a picnic at the park. Together they enjoy going for walks in the park, trying new foods, exploring new cities, and talking a lot of God and the Bible. They like to think about what they can do for other people.

In Nirmel’s own words… “I love his gentleness, emotional intelligence, and that he loves kids, and he is easy going.”

In Rochelle’s own words… “I love that she is very sweet, I love how gentle and kind, I love her ambition and go-getter personality. I love how she is easy to talk to I love her creative mind and she is adventurous.”

Their romantic garden wedding had the perfect backdrop of the Vinoy. They love how the historic feel meets elegance and set the perfect stage for a traditional, floral romantic garden style wedding.

Their love for the Lord was a central part of the ceremony.  Everyone felt like they were on vacation the weekend they were here. The wedding was a breath of fresh air!

It was exciting to see Rochelle and Nirmel’s families combine her Filipino and his Indian culture and heritage through their décor, the ceremony and the cultural dances. The end result was everyone present felt loved, special, safe, and relaxed.

Erica + Anthony Step Into The Limelight | Grand Plaza Hotel | St. Petersburg, FL

Erica & Anthony met through a friend (and also officiant) Erik, ten years ago.
Anthony proposed to Erica at home, they were getting ready to go out to dinner and he surprised her when he got on one knee with the kids close by (exactly how Erica wanted).

Erica loves that Anthony is honest, hard worker and makes her feel comfortable. They can always be themselves around each other and communicate through any situation. Erica loves his determination to set goals together and follow through until they are accomplished. What she loves most is how amazing he is as a father and caretaker to their family.

Anthony loves how much she makes him laugh, when she laughs… he loves her drive, even when she is exhausted she still steps up to the plate for their family. Anthony loves how supportive Erica is of his goals and hobbies. She always pushes him to be a better father and overall human being.

Erica & Anthony both enjoy parenting, eating good food, laughing, vacationing, relaxing (can we say spa day!), making coffee together and Netflixing! (yes, its a thing! lol)

For their wedding day, they wanted not just one day to celebrate but a whole trip with their family and friends to celebrate them! They love the beach and thought Grand Plaza Hotel would be the perfect place for their wedding as they live in Schenectady, New York.

They LOVE to dance and these two lit up the dance floor! It was definitely a night to remember. We enjoyed getting to know these two and their sweet boys, their wedding day was filled with lots of laughter and so many beautiful memories. We loved being there!

Erica & Anthony we wish you ALL the best in ALL you do.

Suzanne + Alex Step Into The Limelight | The Rusty Pelican | Tampa, FL

Suzanne & Alex’ Love Story

How They Met…

From Alex: May 18, 2013 is where this love story began. As I walked in nervously into what was my first day working as a Summer Camp Counselor at Hunter's Green Country Club in Tampa, all I was worried about was trying not to sweat through the only shirt they had given me to wear for the summer (do not be alarmed - soon after, I received a 2nd shirt). After walking through the front door, any shot I had at my nerves disappearing (and the sweating stopping) was gone, as I laid eyes on the most beautiful girl I had even seen. From that moment, I knew this girl was going to be someone special in my life - and when I saw her in her (mandated) one-piece bathing suit during swimming time, I knew she was the one for me.

The Proposal…

From Alex: Soon after we officially began dating (not until summer of 2016), I knew how I was going to do it. If and when we got to that point, I was going to take her back to summer camp at Hunter's Green. Thanks to a lot of planning (with the help of my mother, Matt Hilts, and plenty of friends along the way), I was able to convince her to visit our old stomping grounds with me, to check out the renovations. As we walked towards our old camp gathering area in the back of the club, I remembered an old conversation we had about six months earlier.

SC - "You nervous?"
AW - "I don't get nervous"
SC - "What about if you ever ask me to marry you, will you be nervous then?"
AW - "No"
SC - "I'll make sure to ask you in the moment"
AW - "I'll hold you to it"

As we stopped in front of the building, I turned and looked into her eyes, she seemed confused on what was going on. I knew at that point, I had pulled it off.

AW - "Aren't you going to ask me?"
SC - "Ask you what"
AW - "If I'm nervous"

It took a couple seconds for it to click with her, but before it did, I started to go into a rehearsed speech I had prepared 1,000 times leading up to this moment. When she finally sensed what was going on, and I saw the tears starting to form, and her face lighting up - I lost it. I no longer remembered what I was going to say. I'm not entirely sure what came out the rest of the way, but all I know is it ended with pulling out a small box from my back pocket (thanks, Jake Ninko, for the wallet-looking box - highly recommended) and I was on a knee, ready to give the love of my life the only secret I've ever had to keep from her (other than birthday presents). Obviously, you know what happens next.

Ready Or Not Here They Come!

From Alex: Life is hard. That's an understatement. Life is full of ups and downs. Isn't that the truth! I always loved the song, "Ironic" by Alanis Morissette - "It's like 10,000 spoons, when all you need is a knife", definitely my favorite line in the song. Life is most certainly - ironic.

How ironic it is, that in what I consider the greatest time of my life (my journey with Suzanne), we would also each go through our most difficult moments. Life hasn't been particularly kind to us in the past couple of years, but that's how I know we were meant for each other - I knew we were made for each other. I will never be able to put into words just how much support Suzanne has shown to be throughout my pain. She's been a shoulder to cry on, the Wall (pun intended) to lean on, and my best friend to vent to. She assures me that everything is going to be alright - and I believe her. This is why I pledged to her parents (and the rest of her family) that I'll work every single day to make sure I am everything to her, that she has been to me. I know that no matter what comes our way, as long as we both support each other, we can take on the world.

Fast forward through all the tough times, we think it's time for a celebration. Through a recent move, new jobs, and all the joy of planning a wedding, I think it's time to throw a big party to show just how far we have come.

Danielle + Derek Step Into The Limelight | St. Raphael's Catholic Church & The Vinoy® Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club | St. Petersburg, FL

Danielle + Derek met each other at a country bar in downtown St. Petersburg. When they locked eyes they felt butterflies and still do every time they see each other. While getting to know one another they realized that they had a lot in common. Danielle and Derek love to go boating, working out, and relaxing by the pool. They love how they are both very loyal and they make each other laugh.

Danielle and Derek’s romantic Vinoy wedding was everything they could have ever dreamed of and contained the most red roses in one location that I have ever seen.

Congratulations on finding your forever!
