Kristy and Billy met at the Homestead-Miami Speedway in March 2011. They became the best of friends and soul mates. They do everything together, support each other and together can overcome anything. Billy proposed to Kristy on Myrtle Beach during a moonlight stroll, down on one knee.
Kristy and Billy flew to the tropical island of Bimini in the Bahamas for Thanksgiving weekend to exchange their wedding vows. The morning of the wedding we started photographing Kristy and Billy separately at 4:30 am then off we went around the island of Bimini. We photographed them from sunrise to sunset! Michael and I so enjoyed this amazing and wonderful opportunity to document their intimate and lovely wedding.
Kristy loves the way Billy looks at her - he makes her feel beautiful, like a princess. His hugs and the way he holds her makes her feel safe and most of all loved. Billy loves how Kristy is always there to love and support her whether things in life are going well or not. Kristy and Billy enjoy traveling, cars, being foodies, adventures, growing their own food, cooking and lazy days cuddling. They wanted a tropical, unique and romantic atmosphere - and Bimini was the perfect destination!
It was so special to be included in such a private ceremony surrounded by their most beloved. Their wedding timeline was an artists' dream come true as we had so much time to explore the native habitat and community. Kristy and Billy made waking up at 3am FUN and REWARDING - and I did not think that was possible. They were willing to do anything to get the perfect shot - including walk on water, swim in water and traipse through dirt! At the end of our day when the sun was setting the couple wanted to include a drone camera in a few shots as it is one of Billy's hobbies! It was the perfect way to end their amazing wedding day! It was such a blessing to be a part of thisintimate and romantic celebration of their love and their loves becoming one. Having their wedding in Bimini was a dream true and their vision was realized! It was a very special day spent reflecting on why they fell in love and their promise to each other to never lose sight of the bond they share.
