Jennifer + Dave’s story began at The Home Depot in October 2011. Jennifer was facilitating a training class that Dave attended. During the floor walk portions of the training, Dave made a few jokes and Jennifer couldn’t help but laugh. At the end of the class, Jennifer handed out her business cards to the class and Dave ended up reaching out to her about a different work event. They spent the next few weeks emailing and texting and the flirtatious banter gradually made its way in. Through this banter, they discovered they have similar tastes in music, sports, drinks, and pizza. ALL of which are very important! For their first date in November of 2011, Jennifer and Dave went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch Monday Night Football and hit it off!

Dave proposed to Jennifer near The Gorge Amphitheater, which is their favorite annual vacation spot. Dave had went upstairs to unpack and came back down on FaceTime with their daughter Olivia. When Dave handed the phone to Jennifer to talk to Olivia, Olivia kept saying, “Open daddy’s surprise mom!” Jennifer questioned, “What surprise?” and looked up to find a ring box in Dave’s hand. Dave asked Jennifer if she was ready for their next chapter to begin, and of course Jennifer replied, “YES!”

Dave and Jennifer love that they both live their life making the best out of every situation. They love spending time with their daughter, going to the pool, beach and attending Dave Matthews Band concerts (which they have been to over 70 times!), as well as sporting events such as football and hockey.

It has been eight years of fun for Dave + Jennifer, and so many more adventures await!
