Bliss + Rafal Step Into The Limelight | Opal Sands Resort | Clearwater, FL

Bliss & Rafal met in November of 2012 in Philadelphia, they both enjoy snowboarding, hiking, being outdoors, beaching, home DIY, reading, exploring new restaurants and bars and most of all doing anything with their dogs Olive & Juno.

Bliss & Rafal love each others humor and the ability to challenge one another to grow…
For their romantic proposal, Rafal surprised Bliss on a hike to the acropolis in Athens, Greece with a photographer and singing guitarist (how absolutely special is that?!).

For their wedding day both Bliss & Rafal wanted their guest to feel like they were on vacation they both love the beach but didn't want to actually be in the sand because that may get uncomfortable as the night goes on so Opal Sands was the perfect location, you get the beach scenery but you are able to get married on the most perfect lawn.

Bliss & Rafal are the last of their friends group to get married and most of them have children so they wanted them to have a child free dance party in a vacation type setting. Bliss & Rafal are mostly non-traditional and quirky and wanted everyone to have a memorable day so they only did a few of the usual wedding traditions. One tradition was a Polish Tradition that took place at the end of the first dance. The bride and groom each picked a shot glass (one had water, and one had vodka), Bliss got the vodka so tradition says she will wear the pants in their relationship! There were also fire dancers at the cocktail hour and performers for the reception for the guests to enjoy.

The wedding day was a HUGE success and we loved the earthly, beachy boho style throughout the venue. We loved that the bride wore a champagne/white dress and the groom wore a champagne suit. the groomsmen wore different shades of grey suits and the bridesmaids wore shades of creme, rust, copper, sand, champagne, and gold.

Their guests traveled from all over including Poland, so Bliss & Rafal took great pride in providing a memorable and unique experience for everyone (including us!).

We so enjoyed meeting this sweet couple for their engagement session and now again for their wedding day. We wish both Bliss & Rafal all the happiness in the world. Twoje zdrowie (Cheers) to an amazing couple 🥂

Marisa + Jacob Step Into The Limelight | The Ringling Ca’ D'Zan Mansion | Sarasota, FL

𝐹𝓊𝓃, 𝓇𝑜𝓂𝒶𝓃𝓉𝒾𝒸, 𝒷𝑒𝒶𝓊𝓉𝒾𝒻𝓊𝓁 …

Marisa and Jacob met at The Florida State University during Fall 2012! Their sorority (Alpha Chi Omega) and fraternity (Kappa Sigma) were partners for FSU's Homecoming events. Ironically. They were both on the Homecoming Committee together. Jake was in charge of recruiting Alpha Chi and organizing all of the social events, while Marisa was in charge of building the float. Marisa claims that Jake did not show up to any Committee meetings but that will be a never ending debate! It did not quite start for them then but Jake had his eye's set on Marisa. He persistently asked Marisa's best friend about her. This made it's way full circle back to Marisa and peaked her interest! After Jake graduated from FSU in May 2014, he frequently visited for football games and their friendship rekindled. At the start of 2015, their love story officially began! They went to an FSU basketball game with friends and went out that night to celebrate the victory. Go Noles! They have not stopped talking since that day 4 and a half years ago!

Jake and Marisa travelled to San Francisco for a getaway but Jake had a secret plan. On the most perfect day of the trip, he told Marisa that he had a special lunch date planned for them. He wanted to check out the Golden Gate Bridge to take a picture and grab lunch in Sausalito. They hopped in an Uber and Marisa unknowingly blabbered away. Jake had hoped the Uber would drop them off at the top of the hill for a short walk to the observation deck but the road was blocked off. Marisa (being Marisa) huffed up the side of the hill to the top in her white jeans and bootie heels. Jake was so patient and encouraging to get her to the very top! Jake asked a random person (that happened to be decked out in photography gear) to take their picture on his cell phone. After two snaps, the random person asked if he could take some shots on his professional cameras and send them to us. He said that he frequently takes pictures of tourists! Jake was quick to say yes at this potentially odd request. Before Marisa knew it, he was down on one knee and popped the question! They have every moment leading up to and after the proposal captured by the planned photographer with a beautiful view of San Francisco.

Jake and Marisa love each other for their personalities, empathy, kindness and thoughtfulness. Together they enjoy spending time on the water and at the beach, traveling, growing the Saturday morning market, their golden doodle Brody and watching football (FSU!).

Because they love being on the water and the Ca' D'Zan's location is beautiful it was a perfect venue for their romantic, elegant wedding black-tie. Marisa has done some traveling and loved the style of the Ca' D'Zan. All colors were chosen to softly compliment the Ca' D'Zan. Oh! And The Ringling is tied to FSU and that is where they met!! Besides the ceremony where they were married in front of all their family and friends, the SUPER FUN dance party was the favorite part of their day!!!!

Bringing together their special friends and family and showcasing their love was so special. During the ceremony the eyes connecting as Marisa walked down the aisle and the first kiss were so romantic! But nothing topped when their eyes locked on each other during the “I DO!”.

Becky + Brith Step Into The Limelight | Sandpearl Resort | Clearwater Beach, FL

In Fall 2016, Brith messaged Becky on OkCupid to ask if she would like to go out on a date. Brith, not knowing Becky was Jewish, suggested they go out to eat bacon (because bacon is so much cooler than coffee). Lucky for Brith, Becky was not kosher and did not take offense. Becky suggested a hip gastropub and they met up shortly thereafter. They quickly knew there was a connection and the date continued for over four hours. Brith walked Becky to her car and they both knew they wanted to see each other again. On July 4th, 2019, Brith unexpectedly got down on one knee, while the two of us were out on our balcony watching the fireworks.
Becky loves how affectionate Brith is towards her. She says he makes her feel grounded and at home and really admires how great of a person her is to her and others around him. Brith loves how Becky is giving and generous with her time, money, and energy. Becky’s intelligence and how loving and caring she is around Brith and his little boy.
Becky and Brith had their wedding at the the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach. They first say each other during their first look which was a very sweet and intimate moment for them. Ceremony time came along and they said their I do’s right on the white sand, with the water right behind them. To end the night, their family and friends all came together at Hunter’s Ballroom for dinner, drink and dancing! It was such a great time for this couple and we were more than honored to be there to capture their day.

Marina + Kerolus Step Into The Limelight | St. Mary and St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church + Kapok Special Events | Clearwater, FL

Marina and Kerolus’ love story began in 2012. In 2012, Kero, as usual was planning the annual group monastery trip. His plan was finalized, the van was rented, and he was happy that he could stop stressing about all of the details. Then comes Marina, who decided she wanted to go on the monastery trip last minute. This threw a wrench in all of Kero’s plans because they did not accommodate for an extra person. He was displeased that she decided to, literally, come a few hours before departure. On the morning of the trip, Kero was determined to see who this girl was that was causing him all of this trouble. Then, he saw her...and he couldn’t believe how beautiful she was. He knew he had to find a way to speak with her. When they got to the monastery, he decided to be accommodating by asking Marina if she needs anything during his run to Walmart (it was also a clever way to get her phone number). When the monastery trip was over and it was time to head back, Kero persuaded Marina to sit next to him while he was driving. She agreed and he took advantage of that time to get to know her. After the trip was over, Kero made sure to text her often. One day, he decided to make the move and asked her to be his princess forever and the rest is history...

Lauren + Dan Step Into The Limelight | TradeWinds Island Grand Resort | Saint Petersburg, FL

Lauren & Dan met at a kick off event for their MBAs at Rice University and hatted off immediately!
These two truly compliment each other… she’s the planner and he is the spontaneous one. #balance
They enjoy smoking cigars, running, hiking, watching shows, listening to audiobooks and photography…

Dan is quite the photographer! He shoots and she models ❤ and what a true beauty she is!
We loved capturing Lauren & Dan’s coolness together, they just ooze “chill”. We had the most amazing sunset and their love for each other naturally shined through. We loved how they soaked in each moment of the day together and enjoyed their time with family and close friends.
We will call this day… chill and classy with a modern twist. From Lauren’s stunning lace and open back dress, to the classic parasol with an ever so modern geode cake. Each detail came together perfectly ❤
