Ioanna + John Step Into The Limelight | Innisbrook, A Salamander Golf and Spa Resort | Palm Harbor, FL

Ioanna and John’s big day was nothing short of perfect! They had a beautiful ceremony at St. Nicolas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and then finished out the night at Innisbrook Golf Resort. The couple chose the golf club because the bride’s parent’s have a home there where they would spend holidays. John loved it so much he even told her dad “I’m going to marry your daughter here”. Cue the tears!! It was an intimate evening and they truly had the best time. We could tell they were the perfect fit for each other.! It was so fun to get to see all their amazing Greek traditions, and their favors that were handmade in Greece. What a beautiful night! So happy for Mr. and Mrs. Pazaetes and see nothing but a happy, loving life ahead for them

Connie + Panos Step Into The Limelight | Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church & Innisbrook Golf & Spa Resort | Palm Harbor, FL

Connie and Pano met at the chanter’s stand at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Connie was organizing chanters to chant solo hymns for the Akathist service during Great Lent and was told to talk to Pano so he could sign up to chant. Pano signed up and then didn’t show up! Later that night, Connie found a video posted on Facebook of Pano chanting with her cousin at another church, so she sent him a message to give him a hard time. They secretly dated the first couple of months, all while everyone around them kept telling them they should be together. When people finally did find out they were dating that whole time they were all so shocked!

Pano told Connie they were going to go to dinner for his best friend’s birthday. While Connie was getting ready to go to dinner that evening, Pano and his parents were in her driveway setting up for the surprise of her life. When Connie and Pano walked out the front door, a path of lit candles led them out to the driveway. The driveway was full of red rose petals, candles, and balloons. Pano led Connie into a heart created with rose petals and candles to pop the question.

Their elegant, classic wedding shimmered with ivory, gold and champagne accent colors and decor.   The priests and chanters were all related to the bride and groom and/or very close friends. Their Koumbaro (best man) is also a priest so he played both roles (so there was a special outfit change during the service). Homemade desserts were made by the grandmothers of the bride and groom.

Considering it is where they met and they share a deep faith together, the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church was the perfect ceremony site! Together, Connie and Panos enjoy taking walks and going to parks. Also, this traditional Greek wedding was very large - with 350 guests! So much fun and Innisbrook Golf & Spa Resort is one of the few venues that can accommodate this large guest count so it was a perfect spot for the reception!

Linley + Bobby Step Into The Limelight | Innisbrook | Palm Harbor, FL

Bobby and Linley met at a mutual friend’s pool party and spent the entire night talking about their favorite bands. The next day, Bobby messaged her and they discovered how much they had in common. On their first date, they were supposed to be watching a movie but paid no attention to it because they were too busy talking and getting to know each other!

Bobby proposed to Linley in front of the Rockefeller Christmas tree during their first trip to New York during Christmas time. They love traveling together, spending time with their new puppy, going to the beach and watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S together.

The couple tied the knot during an enchanting ceremony at Innisbrook. It was an amazing day, it was such an honor to be a part of this couple’s love story that will last a life time. Congrats Linley and Bobby.

STEPHANIE AND NIK FEATURED IN THE LIMELIGHT | INNISBROOK, A SALAMANDER GOLF AND SPA RESORT

Stephanie and Nik's wedding day was elegant and colorful, and both traditional and modern at the same time!  The couple chose to honor their marriage with a traditional wedding ceremony at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Tarpon Springs!  The Greek wedding ceremony is a beautiful thing to witness.  The most noticeable difference is that the bride and groom are silent during the service and do not exchange vows with each other.  Instead they are joined together through the prayers of the priest and by witness of the congregation before God through meaningful and symbolic traditions.  The most beautiful elements are when the bride and groom have crowns placed on their heads to symbolize the blessings on the new couple and when the bride and groom engage in a procession around the altar lead by the priest while hymns are being sung.   The ceremony closes with a first kiss and the bride and groom are sent on their way for a happy and blessed life!  Stephanie and Nik's ceremony had all the tradition, but also had a few really sweet moments between the couple.  Since they do not speak during the ceremony, the couple exchanged a few sweet glances that seemed to let each other know that they were so happy to be there and to be getting married!  I loved capturing these sweet moments!  Once married that newlyweds departed down the stairs of the church to rose petals being tossed by their guests and then they were off to celebrate!  Once we arrived to Innisbrook we had just a few minutes to work with the last bit of day light and the beautiful sun light!  I love how these moments turned out for this awesome couple!  Stephanie and Nik wanted their reception to be colorful, bold and modern and the hall at Innisbrook was magical!  Everywhere I looked there were flowers, candles, and drapery in stunning tones of purple, orange, and pink and so many gold accents and candles that it felt like the whole room was glowing!  This amazing couple was wonderful to work with for both their engagement session and wedding day!  Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Karamountzos!
