A Cozy and Intimate Wedding at The Resort at Longboat Key Club

As one of the Sarasota wedding photographers, I always feel honored to capture the moments that bring families and friends together, especially in settings as beautiful as The Resort at Longboat Key Club. This time, I had the pleasure of photographing Madison and Drake's unforgettable beach wedding. Their story, filled with laughter, friendship, and love, was evident throughout every detail of their special day.

Madison and Drake met in 2020 at Nolin Lake, introduced by mutual friends Kyle and Fallon. Fallon and Madison had been friends for nearly 20 years, having grown up together playing volleyball, and Fallon was also a long-time friend of Drake through her husband, Kyle. The introduction took place on a boat ride, and it took about a year before Drake finally asked Madison on their first date. From that point on, their relationship flourished, leading to a memorable proposal at a birthday party that Madison had helped plan for Drake and Kyle. With their closest friends and family gathered, Drake surprised her with a beautiful setup, arranged with the help of Fallon, and asked Madison to be his wife—exactly the kind of proposal Madison had always dreamed of.
